I have officially traded in my adorable purse for a very utilitarian diaper bag. I have definitely forgotten how much gear a little tiny baby requires. I'm "over" cutesy diaper bags and wanted to get something this time around that I could use even after I'm done hauling baby gear. Al splurged and got me this awesome Coach diaper bag! I love it since it has a million pockets and will be a great bag to use even after we're through with the diaper bag days! Until then, I'll be missing my cute purses!
I just have to comment on this. At a Stake Conference recently, I went to the Mother's Lounge for a while. I was clearly the oddball because I did not have a trendy diaper bag or a "hootie-hider." Gasp! I was using a black diaper bag! And I was feeding the baby a bottle! Double gasp! I think I gave all the new moms (we have a ward in the stake that has many professional students) a slight heartattack. It's a little different the 4th time around, eh?
