Today was Carter and Makenna's spring musical programs. Each class learned and performed one song. The K/1 classes did a program on everyday heroes. Makenna's class sang about immigrants coming to America and the heroes they are to us. She dressed up as a "teacher" for her everday hero. The rest of the grades performed songs about famous artists. Carter's class studied Jackson Pollack and sang and recreated art by him. They both did great and it was awesome to see the performances.
