Today's advent activity was to decorate our small, kid tree. I love this tree as it holds all the kids' homemade ornaments from over the years along with the ornament we purchase for them every year. The plan is for them to take their ornament collection when they move out or get married so they have a remembrance of their childhoods. It is super nostalgic for Allen and me and we got a bit teary a few times remembering things.
