This morning the school nurse called me because she thought Carter had an ear infection. He was in a lot of pain and she said his ear was very red. Unfortunately I could not get an appt. with the pediatrician so we ended up in urgent care with him. Sure enough, he had a flaming red ear. We picked up his prescription on the way home and he slept for most of the afternoon. I am stunned that he is big enough now to need 3 entire bottles of antibiotics to clear it up.
